Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on March 18, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana Department of Transportation Traffic Management Center, 8620 East Twenty-First Street, Conference Center Room A, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on a proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 regarding the specific service sign program.

The proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 updates definitions and terms so as to increase the number of businesses that may participate in the specific service sign program on interstates and freeways, and updates the specific service sign program with respect to federal requirements in the current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways. The proposed amendment to 105 IAC 9-4 would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Transportation, 8620 East Twenty-First Street, Room 2014 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
