TITLE 844 MEDICAL LICENSING BOARD OF INDIANA

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 844 IAC 2.2 to implement 2007 legislative changes to IC 25-27.5 regarding requirements for prescriptive authority for qualified licensed physician assistants. Makes other nonsubstantive changes to 844 IAC 2.2 by updating rule language and clarifying requirements. Amends 844 IAC 2.2-1 to add definitions relating to anesthesia under IC 25-27.5-5-4(f). Amends 844 IAC 2.2-2 to add fee requirements for both prescriptive authority and controlled substance registration applications. Effective 30 days after filing with the Publisher. Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana, Attention: Michael Rinebold, Director, Indiana Government Center-South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 or by e-mail to [e-mail].
