    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 08-27

    FOR: PARDON


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, TYRONE EDMONDSON, who has petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in 1999 in Lake County of Criminal Mischief, for which he served his probationary sentence without incident or violation; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, who successfully served his probation, is now a 29-year-old man who has been a productive member of society, earned his associates degree in Criminal Justice and has since the instant offense lived a law-abiding life; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, who worked in private security, has the goal of becoming a police officer, has support urging the Governor to grant this Pardon; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to TYRONE EDMONDSON.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 31st day of December, 2008.
