    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: Amends 405 IAC 1-11.5-2 to modify Medicaid reimbursement formulas by reducing rates currently paid to chiropractors and podiatrists by five percent for the period beginning upon the later of the effective date of this rule or June 27, 2011, and continuing through June 30, 2013, and to extend the expiration date of the five percent reimbursement reduction in dental services billed using current dental terminology (CDT) codes by revising the expiration date of June 30, 2011, found at LSA Document #10-168, to June 30, 2013, and codifying it in this rule. Statutory authority: IC 12-8-6-5; IC 12-15-1-10; IC 12-15-21-2.
