    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 12-21

    FOR: PARDON FOR SAMUEL LOWE


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, SAMUEL LOWE, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Marion County of Class A-Misdemeanor Conversion in 2002; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 30 year-old man who has been a productive member of society, has served in Iraq, and is currently employed full-time with the Indiana National Guard and has served as a bailiff in the Merrillville Town Court; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner has letters of support testifying to his character and urging approval of this pardon from employers and community leaders; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to SAMUEL LOWE.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 3rd day of December 2012.
