Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on February 17, 2015, at 9:30 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Auctioneer Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule that amends 812 IAC 1 to remove references to auction houses and remove outdated fees, amends 812 IAC 2 to remove references to auction houses, and repeals 812 IAC 1-1-14 and 812 IAC 1-1-17.

Senate Enrolled Act 234 (P.L.59-2014) eliminated the auction house license and temporary permit for auctioneers. This proposed rule therefore eliminates any rules and references in regard to auction house licenses and temporary permits. The proposed rule also cleans up outdated language regarding fees associated with auction houses and temporary permits as well as fees that conflict with current statute.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
