TITLE 405 OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 405 IAC 5-13-7 to provide guidelines applicable for approval of, reevaluation of appropriateness of, and payment to a large private or small ICF/MR. Repeals 405 IAC 5-13-10 and incorporates its language facilitating transfer of an individual to another ICF/MR into 405 IAC 5-13-7. Adds 405 IAC 5-13-7.1 to clarify eligibility criteria for ICF/MR level of care for persons with developmental disabilities and to establish criteria and subcriteria for an individual to meet standards of developmental disabilities eligibility and level of care.
