UnderIC 4-22-2-24 , notice is hereby given that on January 8, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N1058, Conference Room, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Local Government Finance will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule to establish procedures and standards to govern local assessing officials and the department of local government finance in the annual adjustment of assessed valuations of real property underIC 6-1.1-4-4.5 andIC 6-1.1-13 and to repeal50 IAC 14 and50 IAC 21 .UnderIC 6-1.1-31-12 , the Department must adopt rules concerning the procedures and standards to govern local assessing officials and the department of local government finance in the annual adjustment of assessed valuations of real property. The Department estimates that no small businesses will incur additional administrative expenses resulting from this rule because no additional reporting or filing requirements will be added by the rule. Because no financial impact is expected as a result of this rule, no supporting data, studies, or analyses were relied upon by the Department in its determination that the rule will have no, or minimal, fiscal impact on State or local government since no new responsibilities have been added by the rule.Copies of the rule are available on the Department of Local Government Finance website at www.in.gov/dlgf.Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N1058 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
