    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 12-14

    FOR: PARDON FOR MONIKA COMICK


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, MONIKA COMICK, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Allen County of Theft-Shoplifting in 1973; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 58 year-old woman who has been a productive member of society, has been employed in various capacities in the healthcare industry; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner has been actively involved in her community, and has mentored young women and lead Bible studies through her church; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to MONIKA COMICK.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 8th day of November, 2012.
