    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 12-07

    FOR: PARDON FOR SCOTT ELLENBERGER


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, SCOTT ELLENBERGER, who petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in Adams County of Dealing in Marijuana in 1979 and sentenced to a term of two years.

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, is now a 53 year-old man who has been a productive member of society, has served as a foster parent for several years and is active in his church; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner has been actively involved in his community and has worked for many years in Indiana businesses; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended to the Governor that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State do hereby issue a Pardon to SCOTT ELLENBERGER.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 8th day of November, 2012.
