Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule LSA Document #12-589

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Secretary of State intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 75 IAC 4-2-3 to create the wholesale dealer plate as a new classification of dealer license plate and to no longer allow a wholesale dealer to apply for and receive dealer-used plates. Adds 75 IAC 4-2-13 concerning wholesale dealer plates and issuance and use to clarify and support issuance and use of plates in the course of wholesale trade other than on inventory primarily stored or used in Indiana. Statutory authority: IC 9-18-26-2; IC 9-23-0.7-1
