Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 0247. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective October 28, 2010.

SECTION 1. The name of scratch-off game number 0247 is "$100,000 PAYOUT".

SECTION 2. Tickets in scratch-off game number 0247 shall sell for five dollars ($5) per ticket, unless otherwise adjusted by temporary price reductions or other promotional activities conducted or authorized by the commission.

SECTION 3. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0247 shall include five (5) separate and independent game areas labeled "FAST $50 SPOT", "YOURS BEATS THEIRS", "7-11", "2 OF A KIND", and "SLOTS". Each game area is played separately and the play symbols and prize symbols in one (1) game area cannot be used as play or prize symbols in another game area.

SECTION 4. (a) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0247 shall contain thirty-three (33) play symbols. The possible play symbols for each game area is [sic, are] as follows:

(1) "FAST $50 SPOT" play symbols include:

(2) "YOURS BEATS THEIRS" play symbols include:

(3) "7-11" play symbols include:

(4) "2 OF A KIND" play symbols include:

(5) "SLOTS" play symbols include:

(b) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0247 shall contain a total of fourteen (14) prize symbols in which each prize symbol will include a caption that corresponds with and verifies the prize symbol as follows:

(c) If a question arises as to a play or prize symbol, the caption that corresponds with the play or prize symbol will be used for final clarification.

SECTION 5. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0247 shall contain a retailer validation code in the game play data area. The retailer validation code verifies instant winners in this game for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599). The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

SECTION 6. The:

(1) retailer validation code;

(2) game/pack/ticket number; and

(3) validation number;

are for commission or retailer use only and cannot be used or played as a play or prize symbol to win a prize.

SECTION 7. (a) To play a ticket in scratch-off game number 0247, the ticket must be validly purchased and the scratch-off material covering the game play data area must be fully removed.

(b) For the game area labeled "FAST $50", if the "" (SEVEN) play symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win fifty dollars ($50) automatically.

(c) For the game area labeled "YOURS BEATS THEIRS", each independent hand is played separately. If the numeric value of the "YOURS" play symbol is greater than the "THEIRS" play symbol within a hand, the ticket holder is entitled to win the corresponding prize shown for that hand. If a number appears on the play symbol, then that number is the numeric value of that play symbol. Play symbols bearing the caption JCK, QUN, or KNG all have a numeric value of ten (10). Play symbols bearing the caption ACE have a numeric value of eleven (11).

(d) For the game area labeled "7-11", each independent roll is played separately. If the sum of the numeric value of the play symbols in a roll are [sic, is] equal to seven (7) or eleven (11), the ticket holder is entitled to win the corresponding prize shown for that roll.

(e) For the game area labeled "2 OF A KIND", if two (2) identical play symbols are revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win the corresponding prize shown.

(f) For the game area labeled "SLOTS", each independent spin is played separately. If three (3) identical play symbols are revealed within a spin, the ticket holder is entitled to win the corresponding prize shown for that spin.

SECTION 8. (a) The approximate number of possible prizes and the estimated odds for each prize level are as follows:

Total value of all prizes*: $7,113,100

Prize payout: 69.74%

Overall odds: 1 in 3.96

Approximate print quantity: 2,040,000 (+1%)

(b) The approximate number of prizes and the estimated odds provided in subsection (a) are calculated based on an approximate total print quantity of tickets. The actual quantity of tickets printed will vary from three million three hundred sixty thousand (3,360,000) tickets to plus one percent (+1%). The actual number of prizes and the odds for each prize amount will vary depending on the actual quantity of tickets.

(c) If the print quantity of tickets is changed during production of this game or due to subsequent reorders of the game, the ratio of prizes to the quantity of tickets printed will be proportionately maintained so that the overall odds and prize payout percentage will reasonably approximate the values provided in subsection (a).

SECTION 9. This document expires sixty (60) days after the last claim date established for scratch-off game 0247.
