    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 07-17

    FOR: PARDON


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, SHAWN RUSH, who has petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in 1991 of Burglary and Theft in Clark County, for which he was sentenced to four (4) years probation; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, who successfully completed his probation, is a 35-year-old Indiana resident, and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner is a law-abiding, productive and employed citizen who made a serious mistake as a young man and has been fully rehabilitated; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State, do hereby issue a pardon to SHAWN RUSH.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 12th day of October, 2007.
