Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on December 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., local time, at the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana will hold a public hearing to create 844 IAC 15, which establishes application and licensure requirements, fees, scope of practice standards, continuing certification requirements, and standards for practice protocols for anesthesiologist assistants.

The proposed rule is needed to establish standards and protocols for anesthesiologist assistants as required by Senate Enrolled Act 233 (P.L.58-2014). The proposed rule does not impose any new costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
