TITLE 140 BUREAU OF MOTOR VEHICLES

DIGEST

Temporarily adds rules requiring the Bureau of Motor Vehicles to withhold the annual registration of the vehicle that was used in the commission of the toll violation until the owner pays the fine, charge, or other assessment, plus any applicable fees. Statutory authority: IC 9-18-2-17. Effective September 29, 2016.

SECTION 1. The bureau shall not impose a separate fee to reinstate an annual registration that was withheld under IC 9-18-2-17(c).

SECTION 2. (a) This document takes effect September 29, 2016.

(b) This document expires December 28, 2016.
