Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on November 18, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Board of Accountancy will hold a public hearing to amend 872 IAC 1-1-2 to allow the board's designee the ability to authorize forms, amend 872 IAC 1-1-6.3 to eliminate outdated references of accrediting associations, amend 872 IAC 1-1-12 to provide certified public accountant candidates with updated contents and grading for the Uniform CPA Examination, amend 872 IAC 1-1-14 to provide eligible certified public accountant candidates with time of holding examinations and notice of the Uniform CPA Examination, amend 872 IAC 1-1-19 to provide certified public accountant candidates with passing grades and reexamination requirements in regard to the Uniform CPA Examination, and amend 872 IAC 1-3-4 concerning course requirements in order for a continuing professional education (CPE) course to qualify and be included in the CPE minimum hour.

The proposed rules do not impose any new costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
