None. This rule is simply adding a definition for the purposes of the newly legislated IC 7.1-3-17.8.

None. This rule is simply adding a definition for the purposes of the newly legislated IC 7.1-3-17.8.

Justification Statement of Requirement or Cost:

None. This rule is simply adding a definition for the purposes of the newly legislated IC 7.1-3-17.8. No data studies or analyses were required.

Regulatory Flexibility Analysis of Alternative Methods:

The alternative to this proposed rule is leaving the term "state park" undefined. This lack of definition could leave an ambiguity about what "state parks" are covered under IC 7.1-3-17.8. To ensure the legislative intent is upheld, DNR proposes to define "state park" and create this list of applicable DNR properties for the purposes of IC 7.1-3-17.8. This determination by DNR leadership is within its statutory and administrative discretion.
