SECTION 1. 888 IAC 1.1-12 IS ADDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

Rule 12. Veterinary Investigative Fund

888 IAC 1.1-12-1 Veterinary investigative fund

Authority: IC 25-38.1-2-19; IC 25-38.1-2-25

Affected: IC 25-38.1-2-19

Sec. 1. (a) To provide funds for administering and enforcing the provision of IC 25-38.1-2-25, including investigating and taking action against persons who violate IC 25-38.1, in addition to the fees required under this rule, the board shall charge and collect the following fees from veterinarians and veterinary technicians:

(1) Issuance of a license to practice veterinary medicine: $10

(2) Issuance of a registration as a veterinary technician: $10

(3) Renewal of a license to practice veterinary medicine: $20

(4) Renewal of a registration as a veterinary technician: $20

(b) Fees collected under this section shall be deposited in the veterinary investigative fund established under IC 25-38.1-2-25.
