    DIGEST

Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 124. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective January 22, 2009.

SECTION 1. The name of the scratch-off game is "Scratch-Off Game Number 124, MATCH 3".

SECTION 2. Scratch-off tickets in scratch-off game number 124 shall sell for one dollar ($1) per ticket.

SECTION 3. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 124 shall contain a total of fifteen (15) play/prize symbols with five (5) play/prize symbols located in the area labeled "GAME 1", five (5) play/prize symbols located in the area labeled "GAME 2", and five (5) play/prize symbols located in the area labeled "GAME 3". If a question arises as to the play/prize symbol, the play/prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification. The play/prize symbol captions correspond with and verify the play/prize symbols as follows:

SECTION 4. A retailer validation code verifies instant winners in this game for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599). The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

SECTION 5. Neither the retailer validation code, the pack-ticket number, the validation number, nor any portion of thereof are play symbols or prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such.

SECTION 6. (a) The play/prize area includes three (3) separate and independent games labeled "GAME 1", "GAME 2", and "GAME 3". Each game is played separately and the play/prize symbols in one (1) game cannot be used to match play/prize symbols in another game.

    (b) A prize winner in scratch-off game number 124 is determined by removing the scratch-off material from the play/prize area revealing five (5) play/prize symbols in each game. In each game, if three (3) matching play/prize symbols are revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win that amount.

SECTION 7. The number of possible prizes and the odds for each prize level are as follows:

Total value of all prizes*: $1,865,680
    Prize payout: 59.80%
    Overall odds: 1 in 4.65
    Approximate print quantity: 3,120,000 (-3%/+1%)

*The number and total value of prizes in this game are based on the approximate print quantity with a variance as stated above. Should the print quantity be changed for production of this game or subsequent reorders, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to print quantity will be proportionately maintained and the overall odds and prize payout percentage will remain the same. Overall odds are determined by dividing the approximate total number of tickets by the approximate total number of prizes available.

SECTION 8. Prizes are subject to prior sales. The availability of tickets for sale in a scratch-off game depends on retailer orders for tickets. Not all tickets may be made available for sale prior to game closing and opened packs of tickets may be returned by a retailer to the lottery under 65 IAC 3-4-1(b).

SECTION 9. If the director determines an end date for scratch-off game number 124 under 65 IAC 4-2-3(a), tickets may remain on sale during the game closing process even if all prizes of three thousand thirty-three dollars ($3,333) [sic] have been claimed. Scratch-off game number 124 may be closed prior to all prizes being awarded.

    SECTION 10. 65 IAC 4-1 through 65 IAC 4-3 apply to Scratch-Off Game Number 124, MATCH 3.
