    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: Adds 844 IAC 5-4-2, which allows physicians to prescribe or dispense medications for the treatment of Chlamydia trachomatis or Neisseria gonorrhoeae to the sex partner or partners of the physician's diagnosed patient without requiring examination of the sex partner or partners. Public comments are invited and may be directed to the Small Business Regulatory Coordinator for this rule. Statutory authority: IC 25-22.5-2-7.
