All testimony before the commission shall be given under oath or affirmation, administered by a person authorized by the chair or presiding officer and who has the authority to administer the oath or affirmation pursuant to IC 33-16-4-1 [IC 33-16 was repealed by P.L.98-2004, SECTION 164, effective July 1, 2004.
