  •    (a) No primary source of supply, wholesaler, or salesman of alcoholic beverages, or the agent or representative thereof, shall, directly or indirectly, place, display, or maintain, or cause to be displayed or maintained, any sign advertising alcoholic beverages by brand name within two hundred (200) feet of premises covered by a retailer's or dealer's permit to sell alcoholic beverages. The distance shall be computed by measuring between the nearest point of the premises covered by a retailer's or dealer's permit to sell alcoholic beverages and the nearest point of the sign.

      (b) Such sign shall not designate by arrows, hands, or other similar devices any particular premises covered by a retailer's or dealer's permit to sell alcoholic beverages.

      (c) A primary source of supply, wholesaler, or salesman of alcoholic beverages, or the agent or representative thereof, may place, display, or maintain, or cause to be placed, displayed, or maintained, temporary banners or pennants advertising alcoholic beverages by brand name on or within two hundred (200) feet of a retailer's or dealer's premises if such banners or pennants commemorate a nationally recognized sporting event occurring within the state of Indiana. The temporary banners or pennants shall be displayed for a period beginning twenty-one (21) days prior to the nationally recognized sporting event and ending five (5) days after the event.
