Section 865IAC1-6-1. Registration of engineer or land surveyor

   (a) Failure of the applicant to pay the certificate fee will cause the application to be terminated one year after the board's action granting registration. If the certificate fee has not been paid before the commencement date of the next biennial renewal period the amount of the next renewal fee and the delinquent fee shall be paid in addition to the certificate fee in order to complete registration and validate it during the following renewal period;

  (b) The professional licensing agency is authorized to issue, upon the request of a registrant and the payment of the prescribed fee, a duplicate or replacement certificate. Such new certificate shall be assigned the original certificate number with the word "Re-issue" inserted above the number and shall be signed by the current board members.
