Section 856IAC1-34-3. Preprinted controlled substance prohibition

  •    The name of any controlled substance, as defined by IC 35-48-2, may not be preprinted on any prescription forms at any time before the prescription is being prepared and executed for presentation to the patient or the patient's agent. That includes, but is not limited to, such activities as typing prescriptions in anticipation of their need, and using a rubber stamp or other similar means which would accomplish the same end. Commercially printed forms containing names of controlled substances are also prohibited.
