Failure to comply with the standards of professional conduct and competent practice of optometry specified in 852 IAC 1-11 and 852 IAC 1-12 may result in disciplinary proceedings against the offending optometrist. All optometrists licensed in Indiana shall be responsible for having knowledge of the standards of conduct and competent practice established by IC 25-24 and 852 IAC 1.
