Section 820IAC8-2-20. Licensing examination

  •    (a) A barber student must pass the licensing examination within three (3) years of graduation. If a barber student fails to pass the licensing examination within three (3) years of graduation, the student must successfully complete the barber instruction again, in compliance with the standards in place at the time of reentry to barber school, before being permitted to sit for the barber examination.

      (b) The board of barber examiners may waive the requirement in subsection (a) if an applicant is unable to meet the deadline and shows good cause.
