Section 760IAC1-39-7. Limitations and exclusions prohibited

  •    In the event an insurer determines to accept a risk, it must do so without limitations or exclusions solely of the coverage for HIV, AIDS, or a related condition, as follows:

    (1) No maximum dollar amount of coverage, which is limited solely to HIV, AIDS, or a related condition, shall be included in any policy or certificate.

    (2) No exclusion of coverage, which is limited solely to HIV, AIDS, or a related condition, shall be included in any policy or certificate.

    This section shall not apply to those policies that provide coverage only for specified diseases.
