Section 71IAC7-3-11. Improper conduct in race

  •    (a) Loud shouting or other improper conduct is forbidden in a race. Unless otherwise provided in this rule, drivers shall keep both feet in the stirrups at all times while on the track and during a race.

      (b) Drivers are not allowed to lay back in the sulky, and handholds are to be adjusted accordingly.

      (c) Drivers laying back in the sulky taking racing room away from a trailing horse may be considered an act of interference.
