Section 680IAC2-4-15. "Domestic water heater" defined

  •    "Domestic water heater" means a water heater which consists of a coil or a closed tank, heated either by direct flame or electrical heating elements, for supplying potable water used external to itself and not exceeding any of the following limits:

    (1) Eighty (80) gallons nominal water containing capacity.

    (2) One hundred thousand (100,000) Btu per hour heat input.

    (3) One hundred fifty (150) psig pressure.

    (4) Two hundred ten degrees Fahrenheit (210°F) outlet water temperature.
