Section 675IAC20-5-27. Design and installation

(a) Pool slides, drop slides, and waterslides over six (6) feet (one and eight-tenths (1.8) m) in height from the slide entrance to the deck of the pool or water attraction and incorporating towers to support riders shall be submitted for plan review in accordance with 675 IAC 12-6.
(b) Pool slides, drop slides, and waterslides shall be designed and assembled such that external surfaces that may come in contact with a person using the slide:
(1) are smooth and continuous; and
(2) will not:
(A) cut;
(B) bruise;
(C) pinch;
(D) puncture; or
(E) cause an abrasion to;
any person.
