Section 675IAC20-3-4. Decks

   (a) A deck not less than four (4) feet in width shall surround not less than fifty percent (50%) of the perimeter of a spa.

  (b) Decks shall meet the following requirements:

(1) Surfaces shall be slip-resistant but not providing an abrasion hazard.

(2) The maximum dimension of any horizontal void shall be three-sixteenths (3/16) of an inch, and the maximum vertical difference in surfaces other than stairs shall be one-fourth (1/4) of an inch.

(3) All corners shall be rounded or relieved.

(4) Decks shall drain away from the spa.
