Section 675IAC20-2-24. Disinfectant equipment and chemical feeders

Disinfectant equipment and chemical feeders shall be capable of automatically providing a continuous residual chemical effect in accordance with 410 IAC, the rules of the Indiana state department of health. All such equipment shall be of an approved type and shall be installed downstream from the pump and wired so they will not operate unless the filter pump is operating. Exception: Erosion-type chlorinators may feed their solution to the suction side of the pump.
