Change SECTION P3103.1 to read as follows: All open pipes that extend through a roof shall be terminated at least 12 inches (305 mm) above the highest point where the vent passes through the roof except that where a roof is to be used for any purpose other than weather protection, the vent extension shall terminate no less than 7 feet (2,134 mm) above the roof.
