Add Exception 3 to the end of SECTION R302.2 to read as follows: 3. Where structures are placed closer than 3 feet to the property line, the limitation on openings in exterior walls shall not apply if a perpetual, platted, and recorded easement creates a nonbuildable separation of at least 6 feet between structures on adjacent properties.
