5. Add item 5 to Section G2422.1 to read as follows: 5. Corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) where installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Where CSST enters into an appliance, it shall be protected from damage by a semi-rigid sleeve or conduit.
