Change the first sentence of Section R802.10.4 to read as follows: Truss members shall not be cut, notched, drilled, spliced, or otherwise altered in any way without the acceptance of an architect registered under IC 25-4 or a professional engineer registered under IC 25-31, the manufacturer of the truss members, or approval by the building official.
