Delete the last sentence of Section R611.1 and substitute to read as follows: In seismic design category C₁, for a townhouse having one or more insulating concrete form (ICF) exterior walls, other exterior walls and interior load bearing walls shall comply with the applicable anchorage and seismic provisions of this code.
