Delete Section R606.10 and substitute to read as follows: Above grade masonry walls shall be anchored to floor, roof, and foundation systems in accordance with details of Figure R606.10(1). In seismic zone C₁, above grade masonry walls shall be anchored to floor, roof, and foundation systems in accordance with details of Figure R606.10(1) and Figure R606.10(2). Below grade masonry foundation walls shall be designed and constructed to comply with Sections R403 and R404.
