Section 655IAC1-3-6. Entry into the program

Latest version.

   (a) Any Indiana full-time fire fighter newly hired or rehired, shall successfully complete mandatory training prior to performing the duties of a full-time firefighter for a political subdivision.

  (b) Any volunteer fire fighter shall successfully complete mandatory training before being elected or appointed to membership in a volunteer fire company.

  (c) Applications shall be provided to the fire service, upon request, by the board. Applications shall be completed in full.
