Section 590IAC5-4-3. Librarian Certificate 2

   (a) The Librarian Certificate 2 position shall be the required minimum grade of certificate for directors of libraries serving a population of at least ten thousand one (10,001) but fewer than forty thousand (40,000), and for other comparable professional positions as determined by the Indiana library and historical board.

  (b) Qualification requirements for the Librarian Certificate 2 position are as follows:

(1) Graduation from an accredited college or university.

(2) A diploma or certificate awarding an American Library Association accredited masters of library science or equivalent.

(3) Three (3) years of relevant library experience.
