Rule 515IAC1-6. Transition to Teaching Requirements on Approved Programs |
Section 515IAC1-6-5. Eligibility for program in secondary teaching

A person is eligible to enroll in the program for a secondary school setting in accordance with 515 IAC 8-1-1.5(c) that corresponds to the content area of the degree if the person has any of the following:
(1) A baccalaureate degree with a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale from an institution of higher learning.
(2) A graduate degree.
(3) A baccalaureate degree with a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 point scale from an institution of higher learning and five (5) years of professional experience.
