  •    "Mode of communication" means the method used by the parent or student to communicate, if the parent or student is deaf, hearing impaired, visually impaired, nonverbal, has no written language, or is a nonreader. Methods used may include, but are not limited to, the following:

    (1) Sign language.

    (2) Braille.

    (3) Oral communication.

    (4) Other augmentative devices.
