Rule 511IAC7-32. Definitions |
Section 511IAC7-32-62. "Mediation" defined
-
"Mediation" means a voluntary process, described in 511 IAC 7-45-2, in which the parent and public agency attempt, with the assistance of a trained impartial mediator, to resolve a:
(1) complaint under 511 IAC 7-45-1; or
(2) dispute that has arisen in the CCC regarding:
(A) the identification or eligibility of a student for services under this article;
(B) the appropriateness of the:
(i) educational evaluation; or
(ii) student's proposed or current level of services or placement; or
(C) any other dispute affecting the provision of a free appropriate public education to the student.
