Rule 511IAC7-32. Definitions |
Section 511IAC7-32-50. "Infant or toddler with a disability" defined

"Infant or toddler with a disability" means an individual under three (3) years of age who needs early intervention services under 470 IAC 3.1-4, because the individual:
(1) is experiencing developmental delays, as measured by appropriate diagnostic instruments and procedures in one (1) or more of the areas of:
(A) cognitive development;
(B) physical development;
(C) communication development;
(D) social or emotional development; and
(E) adaptive development; or
(2) has a diagnosed physical or mental condition that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay.
