Section 465IAC2-11-17. "Mechanical restraints" defined

  •    As used in this rule, "mechanical restraints" means any objects that restrict a child's mobility or ability to use his/her hands, arms, or legs. Medical and therapeutic equipment for the prevention and treatment of physical injury that are used and applied by order of a licensed physician are not mechanical restraints.
