Section 465IAC2-1.5-13. Care of children; general

  •    (a) The foster family shall include the child in the normal routine of the foster family unless the department determines that specific aspects of the routine are inappropriate. No child shall be subjected to cruelty, neglect, or exploitation.

      (b) Foster parents must provide supervision and care that meets the needs of each child's:

    (1) age;

    (2) level of development;

    (3) independence; and

    (4) responsibility.

      (c) In the foster parents' absence, reliable supervision shall be arranged by the foster parents for any child living in the foster family home.

      (d) Foster parents shall report to the department and child placing agency any issue concerning a child placed with the foster parents that impacts his or her:

    (1) health;

    (2) case or permanency plan progression;

    (3) welfare; or

    (4) general well-being.
