Section 455IAC1-6-10. Conflict of interest

  •    (a) The provider shall avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest or impropriety when dealing with the needs of the recipient. Impropriety or conflict of interest refers to a situation in which the provider has a personal or financial interest, or both, that may be perceived as self-serving or adverse to the position or the best interest of the recipient.

      (b) Employees of the provider shall be free from conflict of interest.

      (c) The provider's adult guardianship services program volunteers shall be free from conflict of interest.

      (d) The provider's adult guardianship services program advisory committee shall have a written plan for resolving conflicts of interest.
