Section 455IAC1-1-6. Agency cooperation

  •    (a) The county offices of family and children, the Indiana division of mental health, the bureau of developmental disabilities, the office, the division, the prescreening agencies, and all health facilities shall cooperate in the operation of the screening program and shall share such information concerning the applicant as requested by each other, except to the extent that the information is otherwise protected under state or federal law.

      (b) The division shall prescribe the forms and procedures and establish the policy to be followed in the implementation of the nursing home prescreening program. The appointed area agencies on aging shall be designated by the division as the prescreening agencies to carry out the duties as outlined in this rule.
