Section 440IAC4-3-9. Seriously emotionally handicapped children and adolescents; requirements for services

  •    The center shall provide or arrange for a full range of services for the seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents of its' [sic.] service area including but not limited to:

    (1) diagnosis and treatment;

    (2) treatment in least restrictive alternative available that is clinically appropriate;

    (3) liaison services with other child-serving community agencies;

    (4) follow-up services.

      The center shall develop annually a plan to meet the identified needs of children and adolescents in the service area.

      The center shall insure that adequately trained staff are available to serve children and adolescents. The center shall provide or arrange for inter-agency coordination where the center and another child-serving community agency is involved in a case. A coordinated case management system shall provide or assure access to services for all children and adolescents who reside within the service area.
