Section 410IAC13-1-4. Minimum dimensions; mattress pads

Minimum Dimensions. (a) Fancy cushions which do not exceed 10 inches in greatest dimension or which are not designed or intended for use for human sleeping or reclining purposes shall not be deemed to be articles of bedding. Nothing herein contained however, shall be deemed to exempt from the law any stuffed article or pad simply because it is designated as a toy or for animal pets or for dolls.
(b) If any pad used as an insulator over the springs of innerspring mattresses made of sisal fiber, curled hair or any other material is smaller than the entire top and bottom surfaces of the mattress then the size of the pad must be stated on the label.
